В данном сообщении Американская коллегия акушеров и гинекологов предоставляет обновленные практические рекомендации, первоначально изданные 21 января 2016 г. Изменения и дополнения были внесены с учетом рекомендаций, изданных Центром контроля и профилактики заболеваний (США). Члены Коллегии должны периодически просматривать официальные сайты Американской коллегии акушеров и гинекологов (ACOG's Practice Advisories), Центра контроля и профилактики заболеваний (CDC's website), Медицинского общества матери и плода (SMFM's web-site), на которых будут сообщаться все важные изменения и обновления в этих практических рекомендациях, поскольку лихорадка Зика продолжает оставаться областью повышенного внимания и изучения.
